I’m a highly skilled product designer with over fifteen years experience who loves using empathy and design thinking to problem solve. My passion for design and belief that it can create positive change and impact the world shows in my work. I believe accessibility and inclusive design results in better outcomes for all users. Collaborating is where I thrive; it always leads to surprising (and often delightful) outcomes. I thrive on tackling complexity and transforming challenges into impactful, elegant solutions.
I’m a voracious learner who is always finding ways to acquire new skills. In 2015, I completed a Master of Design at the University of NSW (Australia) and went on to teach as a lecturer/tutor for a Master of Design subject in 2017.

Six quick facts
- I think I was destined to become a designer – when I was very young I started ‘Sas Shop’ selling hand drawn stationery to family members.
- My nickname amongst family is ‘mo’ from ‘eskimo’ after a girl misheard what my name was when I was young and proceeded to call me eskimo. I was too polite to correct her.
- As a shower genius, crazy new ideas often strike in the shower.
- I really love music and I've seen a huge variety of live concerts from David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson to Daft Punk, Prince and The Foo Fighters.
- Some of my absolute favourite movies are kids movies – particularly Pixar and Studio Ghibli movies. I love stories in any/all forms.
- I love travelling - I've been to over 15 countries and plan to visit many more.
